Embridge Economics moves to a new office in Amsterdam. The office is located in the same district as the old office but offers more space and includes a separate meeting room.

Embridge Economics participated in the OECD public consultation on key issues identified in a public consultation document on possible solutions to the tax challenges arising from the digitalisation of the economy. Comments were provided mainly with regard the complexity surrounding marketing intangibles. Comments can also be found on the OECD website.

Embridge Economics is proud to be nominated by the International Tax Review as Netherlands Transfer Pricing Firm of the year as well as Best Newcomer. The European Tax Awards 2018 have taken place annually since 2005 and aim to recognise the leading international tax prfoessionals in the EMEA region. The awards are presented during a gala dinner at the Savoy hotel in London in May 2018.

Embridge Economics joins the Altus Network, a global network of senior independent advisors in transfer pricing, valuation, business restructuring and dispute resolution. Altus Network gathers experienced economists, accountants, valuators, lawyers and former senior government officials. The Altus Network has 23 member firms in 22 countries accros the world.

The Network dates back to 2005 when the founder, Dr. Ross Newman PhD., a former partner of a global accounting firm, established Altus Economics in the United States to provide specialized expert services to clients. Global relationships developed by Altus Economics in order to serve its portfolio of clients in the international arena led to the establishment of the Altus Network. Today, the network continues to increase existing country coverage in the Americas, EMEA and Asia.

September 2017
Embridge Economics was founded in September 2017 and opened an office in the ITO Toren in the business disctrict of Amsterdam, the Netherlands (“Zuidas”). The inial team included three economists: Roderick Veldhuizen, Victor Fischer and Thomas Petrakos. Embridge Economics provides transfer pricing and tax valuation services to corporates, investment firms, real estate firms and tax & accounting advisory firms. Embridge Economics provides its services in the Netherlands and other Europe countries, with a specific (initial) focus on Benelux countries, Greece and Cyprus.
