About Us

Embridge Economics is an independent advisory firm specialised in competition economics, transfer pricing and valuation. In the area of competition law, Embridge applies theory and economic methods to all sorts of competition issues, based on our thorough understanding of the competitive circumstances of markets. In the area of transfer pricing, Embridge offers economic analysis and expertise including benchmarks, testing of the arm’s length principle and profit allocation scenarios. In addition, we offer documentation to support the arm’s length nature of intercompany transactions toward tax authorities. Finally, as part of our core services, we offer valuation services and determine the market value of assets, liabilities and shares. Embridge Economics was founded in 2017. Our team currently consists of five team members. All members have an academic background in economics. In addition, various members have postgraduate degrees in specialised economic topics. Embridge Economics is based in Amsterdam and has a second office in Luxembourg.

Roderick is specialised in transfer pricing, valuation and competition economics. He started his career in various financial roles before starting as an economic specialist. Over the past twelve years, Roderick has advised clients in various industries, including automotive, software, FMCG, real estate, renewable energy and services industry. Roderick has written several articles and frequently lectures on various economic topics. Roderick is named as Transfer Pricing Expert in the Transfer Pricing Expert Guides. Roderick holds a Master of economics from the University of Amsterdam as well as a post graduate degree in Competition Economics from King’s College London.

Thomas is a manager at Embridge Economics and specialises in transfer pricing aspects of financing and asset management related transactions. Thomas holds a Master in Finance from the University of Amsterdam with a specialisation in investments, fixed income, risk management, empirical methods in finance, corporate finance and financial markets. Thomas also has a Bachelor degree in Public Administration from the Panteion University, Athens, Greece. Thomas joined Embridge Economics in 2017.

Jur is an economist at Embridge Economics focussing on documentation and design. Jur manages end-to-end transfer pricing documentation projects. In addition Jur focuses on economic analysis of financial transactions for mainly the real estate market. Jur has in depth experience working with databases and statistic software. Jur has a Master degree in Finance from the Tilburg University and joined Embridge Economics in 2019.

Daniel has a Master degree in European Competition Law and Regulation from the University of Amsterdam and Bachelors in Law and Economics also from the University of Amsterdam.
